HUMANKIND NUKES! | Late Game Updates: Combat, Trade & Science

Welcome back to Humankind release hype! With a pre-release/ review version of Humankind Game out there for a lucky few, and Humankind's official release now hours away, the developers have been updating us like crazy about Humankind gameplay features, updates and more over on the @HUMANKIND YouTube channel! Credit to them for the footage used in this video.

Today we got a look at nuclear weapons in Humankind game - we heard about their power, fear, and geopolitical ramifications! Nuclear weapons in Humankind will have devastating effects, suffer from a one turn travel time delay (or response time, if you're the target!) and require specific tests, civics and science to get hold of! We didn't get to try Humankind nukes during the OpenDev or the Closed Beta, so it'll be interesting to see how they play out in the full game on August 17, 2021!

In this video I also discuss how Humankind will keep the late game interesting by making combat more advanced with aircraft, and insane range on artillery and other bombard weaponry. I'll also touch on Fame specialization, specifically within the space race category as we say some footage of the space race, and satellite/ lunar missions in Humankind. I'll also discuss trade and transport - specifically the obvious additional of both railroads and cargo planes in Humankind. Planes appear to have a big focus in the game, not just for trade, but for civilian and military's endeavors and movement as well!
